A successful September and October will see the members of the Charles Hays Secondary School Cross Country team heading off to Surrey in early November, the Rainmakers set to take on the best the province has to offer at Provincials.
To help reduce the coast of those travels to the season ending event team members, parents and supports will be hosting some fundraising at Canada Safeway through the weekend, with an opportunity for local residents to show their support and possibly win a Halloween basket.
The teams coaches and supporting parents note of the efforts that the team has put into their cross country participation this fall, with many of the student athletes involved with other sports both at CHSS and in the community as well.
The provincials bring cross country teams from across BC and will take place on November 5th
