Empire Tree was working along the 4th Avenue walkway earlier this month clearing brush from the area. The status of the walkway and hopes towards any opening is part of a report to Council tonight |
Residents of the 4th Avenue West area ant those who once used the walkway from 4th West to the downtown core may want to take note of tonight's City Council sessions, with the Director of operations to deliver a report to Council updating notes on the popular pathway that has been closed since January.
The report on the Agenda for tonight provides a bit of history to the topic and notes that should Director of Operations Richard Pucci have a cost estimate to share towards work required to reopen the walkway, he will share that as part of the verbal report.
Mr. Pucci has also included some photos of some recent clearing work at the walkway site, a theme we explored earlier this month.
Council members also if they choose, can ask questions related to the report or seek out additional information on what is required to bring the walkway back into use.
More notes on tonight's Council session can be reviewed from our Preview item here.
