Just over 24 hours until the next Rampage Home game at the Civic Centre with Terrae River Kings in town |
It's still early in the CIHL Season, but Saturday night brings a return to an always entertaining rivalry, with the Prince Rupert Rampage hosting the Terrace River Kings.
The weekend tilt one that likely will see on of the two continue on with undefeated status after the final whistle.
Since their Home opener of September 30th the Rhinos added to the wins with a victory last weekend in Kitimat, the result placing them atop the CIHL West standings, two points behind league leading Nechako in the overall table.
Clearly by the score, the River Kings are once again a high tempo offensive unit, a line up that distributes the scoring nicely
Defensively and in the nets, their first game indicates that they will be stingy in their own end.
For the home town Rampage, Judd Repole, Jared Meers and Kory Movold are off to a fast start, the trio having collected fourteen points in the first two contests of 2023.
All of which sets the stage for another chapter in the Battle of trams at opposite ends of the Skeena River.
Doors to the Jim open at 6, Puck drop is 7PM
So far, the Rampage have not revealed which PRMHA rising star will take to the ice with the team at game time, once they have shared that news, we'll update our story.
