Planning for 2024 ANBT underway, with tournament passes now available

The ANBT offices in downtown Prince Rupert, officials are gearing up
for the final stretch to tournament time in February

We may just be nicely into fall, but before we know it the week long festival of basketball in February of the 64th Annual All Native Basketball Tournament will soon be here, and tournament organizers are using the weeks ahead of the event to get everything in place for tournament time.

This month organizers were offering up reminders to teams considering an entry for the February event to contact them by email for an Invite Package, fees for application are $1,000 with the due date set for January 1st 2024.

For the travelling contingent of faithful fans for all of the participating teams and those in the Prince Rupert area looking forward to another exciting week of high temp basketball and all of the events surrounding it, the season passes are now on sale.

As we noted over the summer, organizers once again chose to skip the Fall Qualifying tournament, opting instead for a Direct Entry program for the February event.

You can drop into the ANBT offices in the old McLean and Rudderham location on Third West to find out more,  or contact them at 250-627-8997

As well, follow their social media stream for any updates along the way to tournament time.

  1. Their website still says last years dates. Its January 2024 the event is a month away. They need better management regarding information for such a enormous cultural event.
