Rampage take to the road with Saturday night showdown in Kitimat

The Prince Rupert Rampage will be the guests in Kitimat on Saturday night, with the home side likely in a snarly mood following two losses so far in the still very young CIHL season.

The Ice Demons head into tomorrow evening's contest after a home ice loss to Smithers on September 30th followed by a road loss to the Nechako Northstars one week later.

Though the Kitimat side played hard in both games, no longer an easy to push around member of the lodge.

To take two points out of Kitimat will mean shutting down Josh Salanina who leads the Ice Demons with 3 goals and 2 assists.

He's just ahead of team mates Lucas Aiken and  Gabriel Fowler McNabb who each have four points as part of a confident offensive squad this year.

For the Rhinos, the trip to Kitimat will be their first action since their Home Opener of September 30th a physical battle at the Jim which saw the Rampage claim a 6-4 victory over visiting Hazelton.

With just one game to look back on, there is no clear dominant offensive threat to take note of just yet, the scoring from game one was fairly well spread out, with Kory Movold and Judd Repole among sone familiar names on the scoring sheet atop the Rampage listings.

Puck drop at Tamititk on Saturday is set for 7:30 PM, for those considering a drive to follow the Rampage to Kitimat tickets for adults go for 10 dollars at the door, Children and Seniors get in for 5.

The Rampage return to the Jim on October 21st, they begin a two game homestead with Terrace in town that night; one week later the Rhinos will host Nechako on the 28th.
