Winter arrives for Eastern Bulkley Valley impacting road conditions along Highway 16

Highway conditions in the Houston to Burns Lake area and points east 
were challenging this morning with snow and ice making the transit
a difficult one and at times one that was shut down

Travellers along the Highway 16 corridor from Houston to points east saw delays through the morning, as the first of what will be many bouts with Winter resulted in a closed Highway at times as a result of slippery conditions and a vehicle incident.

The area of note was near Hungry Hill just past Houston,  

Another area of note today was near Topley, which had been closed earlier this morning.

The challenges of this morning serve to remind motorists to check ahead before they take to the Highway 16 corridor and its feeder routes, that to be aware of what's ahead as you make your transit.
