Prince Rupert's bouncing gas prices bounce upwards at most locations

Back up go the prices, Hays Cove Petro-Can, Chevron and 7/11 Esso
all raised their price pert litre by 12 cents over the last 24 hours

Sharp eyed Rupertites noticed the gas tankers prowling the city late yesterday afternoon and this morning and with their arrival, motorists in the city suddenly have found a twelve cent increase per litre at most locations in the area.

The uptick began last night in the downtown area, with both Chevron and the 7/11 Esso putting the 1.42 per litre Price Point to their signs, with the Hays Cove Petro Can following suit this morning, making for the the twelve cent jump over a 24 hour period.

However, so far, there is one option left for price conscious drivers, the Industrial Park Petro Can still has their pricing listed at 130.9, heading into Thursday evening.

A trip out to the Industrial park however can save you that twelve cents, with
that Petro Can location still holding to the 1.30 per litre cost as of this afternoon

With another weekend of summer driving ahead of us, the prices across much of Northwestern BC and towards Prince George are as follows according to the Gas Buddy website.

Terrace  --- 1.37 to 1.39 per litre
Kitimat  --- 1.38 to 1.39 per litre
Smithers ---  1.41 per litre
Burns Lake ---  1.42 per litre
Prince George --- 1.34 to 1.38 per litre
