City seeks quotations for work to Replace Storm and Water infrastructure at 7th and Green

The City of Prince Rupert is seeking quotations on work for infrastructure
requirements around the area proposed for the Metlakatla Seniors/Elders facility

Work on the area adjacent to the proposed Seniors/Elders Residences at 7th Avenue East and Green Street may soon be underway, with the City of Prince Rupert putting a large infrastructure project out for quotations from qualified contractors.

The Request for Quotations was posted to the BC Bid website on Tuesday, with a four stage project ahead for the successful contractor, which will see sanitary and storm main infrastructure  work taking place around the proposed development site for the Metlakatla led housing project.

No timeline for the required work has been set as of yet by the city, which also includes preparation of the completed site for paving by others.
