Every Monday, we look over the listing prices of the past seven days and outline the Top 10 asking prices in the area, providing a snap shot as to where the Real Estate market may be trending on a week to week basis.

The second week of July provided for no changes to the list of ten for the week, that following an active period of one week ago.

The roster on the West side continues to dominate the listings, with seven homes found west of McBride, and three found on the list for the east.

The ask prices for the ten properties remain as they did last week,  with the combined value of  $6,549,000 now the benchmark in the city.

The lowest mark for the list of ten remains set at  $599,000, while our top end from the last week features a new price point dropping to  $755,000.

Last week also delivered the second quarter figures for Northern British Columbian for the Northern BC Real Estate Board, in Prince Rupert it was a case of a drop in sales combined with a jump in listings.

When it comes to growth in the realty markets of the Northwest, Terrace and Smithers have heated up significantly in recent months, spurred on by anticipation of progress for the LNG Canada project proposed for the community.
