Terrace RCMP had been leading the search since reports of the missing woman, Chantelle Simpson were received earlier this month.
With her vehicle located near Gossen Creek, the ongoing search included air, water and ground resources put into motion as search personnel to tried to find her.
With the discovery of her body around 1:20 on Sunday, Terrace RCMP and Terrace Search and Rescue conducted a recovery effort.
