Wheelhouse Brewing Company in Cow Bay

One of Prince Rupert's local beverage houses is looking to double it's size, with the Wheelhouse Brewing company exploring its plans to increase capacity of the popular Cow Bay area establishment from its current level of 43 to 85 persons.

The hours of operation for the facility which are from 10 AM to 1 AM Monday through Sunday's are not set to be changed as part of the expansion plan, which will require further renovation to the existing building on 1st Avenue East just up the hill from the Atlin Terminal.

As part of the process for the potential expansion, the Wheelhouse currently has an application for a Brewery Lounge Amendment in motion at the Liquor Control and Licensing Branch.
