That as the City of Prince Rupert's Financial office presents the 2020-24 Proposed 5 year Financial Plan Document which is now available.
In the information release accompanying the document, the city made note as to what residents can find from the plan.
"The document is intended to provide greater public understanding of the financial priorities, policies, constraints, as well as overall financial environment within which the City operates.
It additionally lays out the 5-year financial plan for the period between 2020-2024, identifying current and projected revenues, capital and operating expenditures, current property tax rates, information on municipal funds such as utilities, as well as the list of current property tax exemptions."

The document includes messages from Mayor Lee Brain, City Manager Robert Long and the City's Chief Financial Officer Corinne Bomben.
City residents will have two opportunities to provide in person feedback for Council members, with the public comment periods to be made available at the March 9th and 23rd Council sessions to be held at Prince Rupert City Hall.
Residents of Prince Rupert can also participate in the ongoing Public survey project that the City has introduced through their Rupert Talks platform.
