Golfers will be burning up the course at Prince Rupert's Centennial Golf Course this weekend as the Prince Rupert Fire fighters host their Sixth annual Fire Fighter's Scramble on Saturday, August 11th.
The event which has increased in popularity since it first became a fixture on the golf schedule back in 2012 directs its proceeds to Muscular Dystrophy, the BC Firefights Burn Fund as well as to local charities.
Over the course of the summer the firefighters have been receiving some generosity from local businesses in the way of prizes for the event.
The range of items offered up should ensure that the prize package for this years event once again offers some exciting opportunities and rewards as part of the Scramble draws following Saturday night's dinner.
The Best Ball Scramble features an 11 AM shotgun start.
Entry fees are 80 dollar per player, with teams of Four to take to the course for round of golf Saturday.
