Pump failure leads to reduced water pressure for Crestview Drive residents

The City used all of its information assets on Tuesday
spreading word of water pressure issues on the east
side of Prince Rupert

Those residents living in the city's Crestview Drive area may be finding that their water pressure isn't at its normal level of performance, as city works crews work to address a problem at a nearby water pumping station.

Residents of Crestview Drive will be facing reduced water pressure through
this week as the City seeks to resolve a pump failure at the nearby
pumping station on the east side of Prince Rupert

In a Notice to the Public this afternoon the City outlined the nature of the problem, which has been the failure of the water pump at the pumping station, with hopes that as the city crews work to fix the problem that the pressure will be restored by the end of the week.

You can review the full notice from the City here.
