It could be the most challenging and rewarding party planning job that there is on the North Coast, as the Prince Rupert Special Events Society looks to find that one special talent able to pull together four annual community festivals.
The Society which brings Winterfest, The Children's Festival, Canada Day celebration and Prince Rupert's annual summer party Seafest together, is currently accepting applications for the position of Community Festival Coordinator.
Once selected, the successful applicant will be tasked to plan, manage and market the four annual events.
The position will be of interest to those who have had experience in delivering results when it comes to large scale events such as festival, concerts or theatrical productions.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to be a creative self-starter who can face the challenges of deadlines and high pressure are among some of the key elements for the position.
The Community Festival Coordinator opportunity is a contract position which is equivalent to 1/2 Full Time Employment with summers off.
