MLA's week: February 12-14

British Columbia's MLA's opened up a new session of the Legislature for 2019 on Tuesday, with the delivery the Speech from the Throne from Lieutenant Governor Janet Austin.

For a good portion of the week, the early discussion provided for the various talking points from all parties related to the document which will be the NDP governments blue print for the spring, summer and into the fall.

The process of debate came to a sudden end however on Wednesday after the NDP did not have a roster of speakers in place to speak to the Speech, a window for promotion of their plans that closed pretty fast on Wednesday afternoon.
