CityWest looks to fill positions in Prince Rupert, Kitimat

CityWest the Northwest communication company that is owned by the City of Prince Rupert is looking to fill a couple of staffing positions this month, posting career opportunity notices for their Prince Rupert office as well as to mark the return to storefront services in Kitimat.

The Prince Rupert post is for a Central Office Technician, who will oversee all central office and remote office telecommunication networks. Experience in Computer Engineering and Networking is among some of the skills required for the position you can review the full employment posting here.

CityWest is also re-opening their office in the Kitimat region and as they do, the company is looking for a Customer Service Representative, who will be tasked to handle customer service inquiries and schedule work orders for  installation or service call requirements.

The return to the city for CityWest after an in town absence for a number of years, comes as the Kitimat area anticipates some expanded growth and increase in population as the LNG Canada terminal project begins to move towards construction and operation.
