A few things have kind of slipped through our blogging cracks in the last week or so as the flow of information related to COVID-19 began to dominate our attention, but one event that we should get caught up on was the celebration of success for the Business community of late February.
The Prince Rupert Chamber of Commerce hosted the Annual Business Excellence Awards February 29th at the Lester Centre of the Arts, a much anticipated gathering that brought together business and industry members, their families and friends to take stock of the last year and look forward to the future.
Thirteen awards were handed out on the night, with one nominee, Hailey Orleans claiming two of the BEA's for her business Hekate Esthetics.
The winners were selected by online balloting during the month of February following online presentations from those that made it to the final stage of consideration for the 2020 celebrations.
