Chamber of Commerce releases list of Finalists in 2019/2020 Business Excellence Awards



And the Finalists are ...

One of the biggest events for the Prince Rupert and area Business Community is still just over a month away.  But as of yesterday, the path to a potential Business Excellence Award for 48 nominees is now in the home stretch.

That as the next stage for the 2019-20 Prince Rupert and District Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards gets underway, with the Chamber releasing the names of the finalists for this years Business Excellence Awards on Tuesday.

Among the categories for this years event are:

Business of the Year
(All finalists are eligible to Win in this peer voted category)

Four Finalists have been named for each of the categories below:

Community involvement 
Dining Distinction 
Home Based Business 
Indigenous People's Entrepreneurship 
Individual Customer Service 
Industry and Manufacturing
Not For Profit
Professional Excellence
Retail Excellence
Rookie Business
Tourism and Accommodation
Young Entrepreneur

The Chamber notes that would be participants in the voting process should  stay tuned for new Business Excellence Award show episodes, presentations that will be airing through CityWest Community TV and the Chamber's Facebook page in February, with the dates still to be announced.

Those vignettes will showcase all of the finalists for this years competition, offering them a platform to present some of the background when it comes to their business/organization to the public.

After each episode, there will be a 24-hour period to vote for who you think should win their respective award category!

Times for the episodes and where to vote will be relayed through the Chamber Facebook page in the days to come.

The Awards Gala takes place at the Lester Centre of the Arts on Saturday night February 29th.
