Two red hot North Coast teams went into some of the coldest weather in BC over the weekend and came home with tournament wins, as both the Charles Hays Senior Boys Rainmakers and Junior Boys team claimed victory from their work in the frigid climes of the Central Interior.
The Senior Boys put on another strong display of strong offence and tough defence in three tournament games of the PGSS Polar Clash, their first game a match up with Kelly Road Secondary.

From that opener, the Rainmakers hit their groove as play continued through to Saturday's final, as they put the cap on a perfect run for their three contests in Prince George.

The team next will see action this weekend, that's when they are put to the test against some southern competition as Langley's Brookswood comes to town for two games at the CHSS Gym on January 17 & 18.
The Junior Boys continued to find success as well, as they took on all comers at the Duchess Park tournament. Coach Kevin Sawka's team found much success and Top Dog status as the weekend came to an end.

The Senior Girls were also scheduled for action this weekend with a trip to Smithers, though we have no details on that trip to this point.
