Gitmaxmak'ay Society issues call for drivers for today's Food Box program deliveries
A COVID related community reach out program hosted by the Gitmaxmak'ay Society has seen Society members in households across the region receiving Food Boxes.
The program began at the end of May and was designed for those registered Gitmaxmak'ay members who did not opt to make use of the Gift Card program that had been created as part of the COVID response from the Nisga'a Lisims Government and the Society.
Today marks the Final distribution for the program and with 55 households set to receive their boxes the call out from the Nisga'a Hall has been made for some assistance in deliveries, with the timeline for delivery to run from 11 AM to 6PM.

While the Food Box program is ending, the gift card program will continue on.

Organizers note that the phone will not be a priority during distribution times, so be sure to leave a voicemail.
