SD52 turns to a familiar face as Acting Superintendent

Sandra Jones is back at SD52, set
to fill in as Superintendent as the
District begins its search for its
next Superintendent
Former Superintendent Sandra Jones is taking a break from her retirement to return to SD52 as she resumes her former duties following the departure of the most recent Superintendent Dr. Irene LaPierre.

The advisory also noted that Dr. LaPierre had agreed to leave the employ of the School District immediately.

On Friday afternoon, SD52 Chair  James Horne released the latest announcement on the status of leadership of the District, heralding Ms. Jones' return which was effective yesterday, with the Board Chair expressing the School District's gratitude at her willingness to serve once again.
