SD52 School Bus Sell Off

When Acting Superintendent Sandy Jones heads back to her days of retirement following her return tour of duty, she'll be able to add Used Bus Sales Rep to her lengthy resume of service.

SD52 has put a faithful transporter of young students up on the market, posting the For Sale sings on the long serving 2003 Ford Microbird.

And while the For Sale listing does not mention whether it has been driven by little old ladies only on Sundays, it does note that it has 122,000km on it and requires some repairs and is to be sold on an As Is, Where Is basis.

Those looking to kick a tire or two can view the bus at the Booth Maintenance Building Parking lot on Hays Cove Circle, across from the Hays Cove Petro Can.

The School District approved the purchase of a new bus for its Port Edward/Metlakatla Service earlier this month as part of the approval of their Budget Bylaw and Capital spending plan.
