One of the most popular stops on a Saturday schedule for North Coast residents that make the weekend drive to Terrace has returned for 2020, with the Skeena Valley Farmers Market setting up on a damp Saturday with a few vendors taking to the stalls
Saturday rain made the debut a bit wet and a bit cool, but the return was well received by those in Terrace and visiting the community
Noting that they are abiding by all of the COVID 19 measures and regulations that are in place, the return of the market was made early last week
The market features barriers to separate the two sides of Market Street where the stalls are located to better provide for social distancing at the Market.
The first week was limited to produce providers from around the Terrace area, with hopes of expanding to baked goods, artists works and other products later this week and on into the summer.
The market opens at 9 AM on Saturdays. You can find it on Market Street, between Park Avenue and Davis Avenue, it is adjacent to George Little Park in the Downtown area of Terrace.
In addition to the return of the physical space for the market, the organizers launched virtual market this year allowing for you to place orders on line for some of offerings of the75 vendors among their listings.
More on the Market can be found here.
You can keep up to date on the rollout of the additional attractions for the Market from the Skeena Valley Farmers market Facebook page.
