Two positions of service to Prince Rupert now available on City's Help Wanted Board

A career opportunity with the Prince Rupert Fire/Rescue Department
is one of three current openings with the City of Prince Rupert


Two opportunities to serve the residents of Prince Rupert can now be found as part of the most recent postings for the City of Prince Rupert Jobs listings, as the city continues to fill openings for a few of its services.

The first is the call for applications for a Firefighter with the Prince Rupert Fire/Rescue Department, with the deadline for applications set for March 1st.

The second opportunity is that of a call for applications for the position of Bylaw Officer, with the deadline for interest in that position set for February 26.

The City's Bylaw officers may soon have a larger workload ahead of them, that after City Council approved its new Downtown Core Revitalization Tax Exemption Bylaw, which included provisions for the city to move forward on derelict and unsightly properties.
