City of Prince Rupert continues with the hiring call into July with two management positions listed this week


The hiring times continue at Prince Rupert City Hall with city Human Resources officials posting two management positions this week, the latest in what has been a bounty of job opportunities to apply for the civic work force and managerial opportunities.

This time around the city is looking for a Manager of Recreation and Community Services, which reports to Corporate Administrator Rosa Miller. She is looking for applicants with initiative, exceptional communication skills and a proven ability to effectively manage people and finances.

Applications for the position, which is union exempt, close on July 23rd

The Second position is that of Facilities and Maintenance Manager, which reports to Dr. Robert Long, the City Manager, is looking for a positive and self-motivated individual to manage the Building department in the real of Facilities and Maintenance Manager. 

The city's synopsis of the opportunity notes that the successful candidate will be responsible for the operation of the diverse group of civic facilities.

The two latest positions make for the eight active job listing in recent weeks from the City, the majority of them focus on the city's Recreation Department.
