RCMP on watch for stolen boat out of Kitimat

Kitimat RCMP are looking for a stolen boat that was taken from a 
marina in Kitimat early this month

All along the North Coast, Marina and yacht club managers will be keeping an eye out for arrivals,  that as the Kitimat RCMP seeks the help of the public in their quest to track down a stolen vessel from the MK Bay Marina earlier this month.

In a statement from the Kitimat Detachment the Mounties have outlined the background to the incident, which saw the 22 foot Wooldridge Alaskan boat taken from the Kitimat Marina sometime after 5PM on Saturday, July 10th.

The boat which carries the Personal Identification Number of 13K117303, has an aluminum hull, tan soft top and a 9hp Yamaha kicker.

The RCMP is asking that should you spot the boat on the water to contact your local detachment; in Prince Rupert 250-627-0700 or through Crime Stoppers at 1 800 222-8477
