Brief Thursday Afternoon Power outage in Prince Rupert attributed to transmission circuit failure

The BC Hydro Power outage map shows the scope of 
the power interuption situation in Prince Rupert on Thursday

The Power went out for the Prince Rupert and part of the Port Edward area on Thursday afternoon, a sixteen minute outage that started at 3:30 PM and came to an end with the return of power at 3:49.

The listings from the BC Hydro outages page providing the scope of the areas affected, with BC Noting that 8,020 of their customers were impacted by the afternoon outage.
