Polar Plunge gains first challenge acceptance, with West Coast Marine Unit members taking a dip

Last week we outlined a project in aid of BC Special Olympics, with Prince Rupert RCMP Constable Brody Hemrich, taking a dive into the waters off of Seal Cove part of the Polar Plunge Challenge.

As part of that event, the Prince Rupert member challenge other members of the RCMP in the Northwest and along the coast to do the same and meet his financial donation.

And today comes word of the first challenge acceptance as two members of the RCMP's West Coast Marine Unit, Cst. Rinke and Cst. Eeftink took a plunge which accompanying video to commemorate it.
