Three strikes and you're out when its Legislature speech making time

Thursday morning was a rough one for  message delivery for North Coast MLA Jennifer Rice, who clearly had something to say to the Chamber in Victoria, but never did get to share her commentary with the assembled MLA's or those tuning in at home.

Ms Rice's challenges began at 10:24 with her remote participation going somewhat awry, with no audio to be heard.

The silence followed up by Speaker Raj Chouhan, offering up the helpful advice that she may be muted.

Something that however did not seem to be the issue, the audio troubles continued through two other attempts for the MLA to share her thoughts.

Both of those as well went the way of a silent movie without the subtitles.

The MLA's opportunity to participate on the day came to an end at 10:30 AM when the Speaker proclaimed he was moving on to Question Period.

The audio issues seemed to be related to something at the North Coast MLA's end of the connection,  NDP MLA Rick Glumac who also was participating remotely on the day was up next and was heard loud and clear by those in the chamber.

IF she is still away from the Legislature on Monday and in speechifying mood, she can tempt the audio Gods once more for an encore when the new week of Legislature work gets underway.
