Prince Rupert RCMP make arrest related to January Wanted search


Media relations officials at the Prince Rupert detachment of the RCMP have announced that a thirty year old woman, who had been the subject of a search as part of their Wanted Wednesday program in early January has been arrested.

At the time of the RCMP call for assistance from the public, she was wanted on a range of unendorsed warrants which included:

Two counts of Robbery
Utter threats 
Assault with a weapon 
Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose 
Extortion 

She was also wanted on endorsed warrants for: 

Theft under $5000 
Breach of a release order 

In the advisory from Media Relations Officer Constable Gabriel Gravel it was noted that the subject of their search had been located and arrested on Saturday evening.  She has been held in custody, with an appearance in front of a Justice of the Peace scheduled for later today.
