The final Council session for June takes place this evening, the last of the twice a month gatherings until October for City Council members.
That as they head into the more relaxed schedule of Council meetings for summer.
The night will be a busy one, with two presentations set for the Committee of the Whole; the first a presentation from the Commander of the Prince Rupert Detachment of the RCMP, followed by a presentation related to the release of the 2022 Annual Report for the Community.
In the regular session there is much ahead as well.
Included are a number of Reports for Council, include on the list, a proposal to change the timeline of the city's budget process, an update on the city's Parking plans in specified areas and a report on the Tourism Prince Rupert plans for Mariner's Park.
The City also release its Statement of Financial Information, a compilation of salary, expenses for both elected officials and civic management, staff and workforce, As well as a lit of payments to venders.
The key housing proposals could move forward with Council to provide readings to Zoning Amendment bylaws for Hays Cove at Frederick and on Ninth Avenue West at Lisa Walters Drive
Council members will also hear a report on the proposed Alternate Approval Process ahead towards loan requirements for Civic infrastructure.
Council will also move forward on zoning themes towards DayCare Facilities.
A range of variance requests also make for some of the agenda on the night.

The Meeting to be closed related to two elements of the Community Charter.
(e) the acquisition, disposition or expropriation of land or improvements, if the council considers that disclosure could reasonably be expected to harm the interests of the municipality;
(k) negotiations and related discussions respecting the proposed provision of a municipal service that are at their preliminary stages and that, in the view of the council, could reasonably be expected to harm the interests of the municipality if they were held in public.
