Crestview Road repairs delayed owing to parts delivery issues

Applewaite and Crestview Drive both remain closed to
through traffic as water related work takes place at the
intersection of the two streets.

A waterline and road repair project on Crestview Drive that goes back to the State of Local Emergency of December is still listed among those considered in progress.

That as the City provided for a short update for Crestview are residents through social media last week.

Applewaite which leads to Crestivew has been closed
since December of 2022

The project began as part of the string of waterline failures on December, the repair work to the waterlines resulting in closure of Crestview to local resident and no access to Applewaite that leads to the area from Frederick.

The City's update noting of supply issues for parts for the work, came following some questions related to a road advisory on Frederick street last Friday.

There was no timeline released as part of the city's short social media update.

The Crestview area was one of three areas of note at the time for significant attention, one on 7th Avenue East and the project still underway on First Avenue East.

  1. Why not bury whatever and open the road. Would Graham Ave. be shut down for more than 6 months? I am beginning to think I live on a forgotten street.
