With Canada Day Celebrations Fast Approaching, Prince Rupert Special Events seeks volunteers, shares a few notes on events planned for July 1

The summer festival season continues for Prince Rupert with Canada's Birthday the next big event on the calendar with the July 1st celebrations set for Pacific Mariner's Memorial Park.

The downtown park overlooking Prince Rupert Harbour is the traditional space for the annual event and this years events are set to take place from 5 to 8PM.

Towards those three hours of national celebratory fun, Special Events is in quest of some helping hands to put it all together on Canada Day.  Also required are helpers for set up from 3-4 and Take down from 8-9 PM

Call Prince Rupert Special events at 250-624-9118 or email them at office@prspecialevents.com, you can send them a message on their Social Media page.

Special Events Organizers have a checklist of events they are hoping to have staffed to make the day a success.

So far a few residents have taken to the call to help out, confirming a few from the checklist.

Follow the Prince Rupert Special Events Social Media stream for updates on the plans as we get closer to next Saturday and our July 1st Celebrations.
