As June winds down and the schools prepare to close for the summer, a key deadline for property owners in Prince Rupert is fast approaching with the July 4th Deadline for payment of property taxes  almost here.

The City used its Social Media stream on Monday to provide a reminder for residents of the timelines required to ensure that your payment is recorded prior to the July 4 deadline.

Key to their theme is the reminder of the different dates to note depending on how you pay your taxes to ensure that your payment is recorded prior to the deadline.

The City also offers up some notes for those who have taxes paid by a lending company or through the City's pre-authorized payment plan related to the Home owner Grant application process.
