In the short few years of his time in the world of American College basketball former Charles Hays Rainmaker Liam McChesney has logged some impressive travel miles.
From his NCAA debut in Utah to his most recent stop in the heart of America at Illinois State, the Rupertite has seen a lot of America.
And as things turn out, there's a few more kilometres to go for the journey and a new part of the American experience to check out.
The next destination for the Power Forward will take him to the Qubein Arena and the campus of High Point University in North Carolina.
McChesney who had put out his name in the NCAA's transfer protocol, was recently announced as the newest member of the High Point Men's Basketball Panthers.
The University making note of their Northern acquisition in a social media post from mid May.
At first glance, Hoops fans may wonder why a player would trade in the high profile of the Midwest crazy state of Illinois for the lesser known perhaps North Carolina University, but there may be a hint in another recent signing by the Panthers.
That's the March announcement of the hiring of new Head Coach Alan Huss, who served as an assistant coach in the highly successful Creighton program, he brings that wealth of experience and his own coaching narrative to North Carolina which has ambitions of making some moves in the NCAA South.

For those that follow NCAA March Madness, Creighton has been a frequent dance partner in recent years, reaching elite eight status and gaining recognition for its innovative basketball play and team chemistry.
Those intangibles could soon be a part of the High Point experience and for Liam McChesney who is winding down his NCAA eligibility, the opportunities to be in the Panthers Line up seemed to be the right fit for him.
