City of Prince Rupert seeks applications for Assistant to its Operations Manager

There's another job opening now available with the City of Prince Rupert, that as the city now embarks on the quest for an Assistant Operations Manager.

The successful candidate one who will be in considerable contact with the public and works in support of the Operations manager.

As the Job sheet explains it: 

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the incumbent must have a high degree of initiative, exceptional communication skills, and a proven ability to effectively manage people and projects relating to the construction, operation and maintenance of infrastructure in a municipal or related sector. 

This role will provide the greatest satisfaction to a detail oriented individual who thrives in a multi‐ faceted environment, understands the complexities of Local Government and enjoys coaching, development and leading staff to reach their full potential. 


The position is union exempt, the deadline for expressions of interest, along with a cover letter, resume and relevant backing documents is February 26th
