Chamber to host Roundtable session today through Zoom on local issues

The Prince Rupert and District Chamber of Commerce will be taking on some local issues of concern for local business leaders this afternoon, hosing a Virtual Roundtable Discussion through Zoom with the two senior political officials for the region.

Set to join Chamber officials this afternoon will be North Coast MLA Jennifer Rice and Skeena-Bulkley Valley MP Taylor Bachrach. 

The two regional politicians, along with Ian Tostenson, President of the BC Restaurant Association will be sharing thoughts on the current measures in place in response to COVID and the impact that they have on local business

As well, the session will offer the the chance  for the Chamber membership to put questions forward through the one hour session today scheduled from 3 to 4 PM.

  1. Hopefully a chamber member will bring up the proliferation of grow-ops in downtown core and residential areas of the city.
