The pooches of Port Edward will soon no longer be the poor puppies to their cousins in Prince Rupert, with the District of Port Edward sharing notes on the progress of the community's plans for its own Dog park.
With the District noting through their Social media feed last week that the site has been selected for the Dog park, which will be adjacent the skateboard park on Sunset Drive.
The District outlined the work program ahead, with Public works set to break ground on the new dog park over the next few weeks, with a timeline towards construction and the Grand Opening to be relayed soon to be shared.
