Batter up! Prince Rupert Minor Softball Registration underway

Put them in coach, they're ready to play!

at the Civic Centre. Youth Softball registration is now underway

With more than a week of steady sun, heaping helpings of fresh air and green grass in view, the fields of the Prince Rupert Civic Centre are almost ready for some action.

And for youngsters looking to play softball the days will soon be few before the call of Play Ball is heard.

Minor Softball is about to return to the field following a one year absence of 2020, when the sport like many others was forced to the sidelines owing to COVID.

2021 offers up a chance for a return to play, though with a number of measures in place to address COVID, which you can review from the Back to Bases blueprint released in February.

The Online Registration commenced on Monday, with divisions ranging  from the  Six and under group to those in their teens.

The Prince Rupert season runs from May through to early July

The Registration form can be found here.

See the Facebook group page for Prince Rupert Minor Softball should you have any questions or would like to learn more about the local organization.

This will also mark the second year of the merger of the Softball and Baseball leagues, with the decision made in 2019 to put the focus on Softball in Prince Rupert.

As the season moves ahead we'll track whatever developments we hear of from our archive page.
