The delivery of the budget and an introduction of a travel ban in response to COVID made for the key elements of the week for British Columbia MLA's whether participating at the Legislature or by remote access from their home constituencies.
Premier Horgan charted the course on COVID early in the week appearing at the Monday COVID briefing to speak to the need for travel restrictions.
The Premier seemingly not wanting to call the measures checkpoint, instead introduced what he called travel audits, a concept that left a bit of confusion as the time.
Tuesday was Budget Day in BC, with Finance Minister Selina Robinson delivering the NDP government's financial plans in the Legislature, a financial path that will see British Columbians paying the bill long into the future.
A large number. of the Premier's travel restriction plans were outlined Friday, with Public Safety Minister Mike Farnworth hosting a short information session to outline the measures to come, though seemingly still a work in progress, with even more details to be released next week.
Earth Day also had some focus for the MLA's with British Columbia's Legislature joining other government's around the world to observe the day on Thursday
