Watermain replacement work for west side means water shut offs starting Monday morning for 14th Street area residents

Work on water infrastructure on the city's west side
will bring water shut offs to the area next week

The City has advised residents on the west side of the city of some upcoming infrastructure work, with a waterman replacement planned for the area of 14th Street and 2nd Avenue West.

Towards the work, a number of scheduled water shut offs are planned for the immediate area starting on Monday morning.

The area in question has been a fairly active construction area over what has become a lengthy period of time, with part of the work reducing the road space along Atlin.

With some progress apparently on the horizon, that could mean that the work may be nearing completion and the disruption to the area will soon be a thing of the past.

Residents of the area can follow the City's Social media stream for updates as the work gets underway next week.
