Former Local Minor Hockey player re-assigned to Kamloops Junior team

Kamloops This Week is reporting that former PRMHA player Devin Oakes has been re-assigned to the Kamloops Storm of the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League.

Oakes had been practising with the parent club, the Kamloops Blazers of the WHL, but had not been placed on their active roster after recovering from an off-season injury.

He has been cleared for contact and will take up his duties with the Storm on the weekend, when the Storm visit the Sicamous Eagles.
