Prince Rupert City Council members will get a chance to review a presentation on the recently completed Community Child Care Survey, offering the opportunity for councillors to ask questions related to a range of recommendations that will come as part of the 50 page report.
Set to present their findings to Council are, Alison Watson, Kate Toye and Liliana Gragowska of Watson Projects
The document which is available as part of the Council Agenda for tonight (pages 7 to 53 ) consists of four parts.
The First an introduction to the topic and the overview that the Survey team took to their work.
Part Two features the Needs assessment and a range of findings from their survey period.
Part Three identifies the Child Care Gaps and Targets
The Final segment of the report explores the City strategies for the future as well as the recommendation of Actions.
Residents of the city had an opportunity to review the project's findings last month at an Open House that was hosted by the City at the Lester Centre.
Planning for the Child Care study was launched in August of 2019, that after the City of Prince Rupert received funding from the Provincial government.
