Some summer work is planned for seven School District 52 facilities, with the bid period for a wide ranging electrical upgrade about to come to an end.
Friday is the deadline for interested electrical contractors to submit their proposal for the full interior LED upgrade, set for five schools and 2 other SD52 facilities.
On the upgrades list for the summer of 2020 are the School Board Office, Booth Maintenance Facility, Charles Hays Secondary School, Prince Rupert Middle School, as well as Conrad, Pineridge and Roosevelt Elementary schools.
The full prospectus for the project was posted to the BC Bids website.
The deadline for submissions is 2PM on Thursday June 4th, the project is being overseen by Rede Energy Solutions Ltd.
