The next time you see a Prince Rupert Fire vehicle off responding to a call, keep an ear out for perhaps the strains of ZZ Tops classic rock hit Sharp Dressed Man, for the Prince Rupert Fire/Rescue Department is breaking in some new duds.

In a Social Media post last week, the PRFD outlined some notes on their fire gear which has been selected to meet the high level of job specific needs for the local firefighters.

The line of response gear comes from Starfield and features a range of innovations towards firefighters safety.
