Prince Rupert Firefighters send some Christmas Cheer (and cash) to local organizations

Prince Rupert Firefighters have shared some
spirit of the season with a number of local groups

Members of the Prince Rupert Fire/Resecue Department have given back to the community this holiday season, distributing over 5,000 dollars to three local organizations, that through fundraising efforts this year with the Wheelhouse Brewing Company.

Receiving some Holiday funds for 2020 are:

SD52 Food Program which received 2,000 dollars
Salvation Army Prince Rupert which received 2,000 dollars
Prince Rupert Wildlife Shelter which received 1, 000 dollars

The fundraising work is part of the Firefighters Charitable society which has been created to help assist the community. With the focus for the distributio as a result of a fire in the city, or to address other needs that are raised.
