New CFTK TV reporter takes to the Prince Rupert news beat

Joshua Azizi (on the right hand side above) is the latest
reporter to cover the Prince Rupert area for TV7

With a few days of training in Terrace now under his belt, the newest reporter for the Prince Rupert and North Coast area has filed his first story, with Joshua Azizi providing a look at the first days for the Northwest MLA's as part of the new Legislature session.

TV7 welcomed him aboard last week, with a short Social Media message that outlined some of his work prior to arrival in the Northwest and his new career with Bell Media North.

The newest reporter on the North Coast also shared his new career path through his personal social media feed, with a notice on his twitter feed hailing his plans to head north.

Mr. Azizi's arrival fills the gap in local television news coverage that came with the transfer of Divya Gill to the home office in Terrace back in the early fall, a move that came after just five months on the Prince Rupert assignment desk.

Since her move to Terrace, she has been hosting the morning news run and filing television reports from the Skeena Valley.

As he settles into his new duties at the Atlin Terminal studios at Cow Bay, Prince Rupert residents will no doubt soon once again find many of the local stories making their way to the nightly newscast from the Terrace studios.

A sample of what is to come, can be found from his debut story of Tuesday, which you can view here.
