The Prince Rupert Port Authority has put the final touches to their draft guidelines for the next Port Information Guide, which will outline the new practices and requirements for vessels planning to anchor in Prince Rupert waters.

The 126 page document covers a range of themes including:

Contact information and regulations

Notification requirements
Documentation
Reporting

Port Descriptions, Port Navigation, Port Safety, Security and Operations also account for the extensive review of what navigators need to know before arriving in harbour.

You can review the full document from the Port of Prince Rupert Wesbsite .

As part of their process, they are inviting public comment with a thirty day comment period now underway, set to close for comments on January 8th.
