Some key infrastructure work is about to get underway in the District of Port Edward, with District officials making note of some prep work taking place near the Municipal Hall area this week.
Roads contractor C and C Road Maintenance has been assigned the work on the Evergreen and Wildwood road reconstruction and storm water improvement work in the community.
With the first item on an ambitious to do list that of the Senior's Housing driveway and parking lot area for BC housing.

The District did not outline a timeline today towards the work ahead, though previously the Port Edward Council did observe that the work would get underway in the New Year.
